OmyDisc: Review and Test of the Brand in 2025 + Promo Code

For the past few months, the OmyDisc brand has been gaining more and more attention. Presented as one of the best alternatives to menstrual cups, it stands out with its pull-tab discs, designed to make removal easier.

But is OmyDisc really a reliable brand for buying your first menstrual disc?

Our Opinion on OmyDisc in Summary

After several cycles of testing, we decided to give OmyDisc a rating of 4.5/5 in our 2025 comparison of the best menstrual discs.

The brand, still relatively new, genuinely surprised us with the quality of its discs and especially with the presence of a pull-tab that makes removal much simpler. This is a real advantage for beginners, who often dread this moment with other models.

The pack containing two sizes, S and M, allowed us to find the one that suited each of us best, and with the right size, we experienced no leaks. Comfort is guaranteed: once in place, the disc is completely imperceptible.

Another strong point, OmyDisc offers a 90-day “satisfaction or money-back” guarantee, which allows testing the product for about 3 cycles, a considerable advantage compared to some competing brands like Nixit or Hello Disc that don’t offer this.

OmyDisc Advantages

  • Advantageous pack: 1 disc purchased = 1 free
  • 90-day satisfaction or money-back guarantee, ideal for finding your size
  • Discs available in 2 sizes (S and M)
  • Integrated pull-tab for simplified removal
  • Applicator and sterilizer available as options

OmyDisc Disadvantages

  • Pull-tab that isn’t ideal during sexual intercourse
  • 7-day delivery (could be better)

Presentation of the OmyDisc Brand

Omydisc brand

OmyDisc is a brand specialized in menstrual discs, which stands out with a simple but very practical innovation: the pull-tab. Designed to facilitate use, it particularly reassures beginners who often apprehend removing internal menstrual protection.

OmyDisc offers two ranges of discs: reusable discs in medical-grade silicone, available in two sizes (S and M), and disposable discs in recyclable TPU, designed as a more ecological alternative to conventional disposable protection. But also an applicator, sterilizer, pain-relief patches, and period underwear.

🚚 Delivery is now accessible worldwide, and the brand has recently expanded its activities to the United States, Australia, UK, Spain, and most countries around the world.

Our Test of the OmyDisc Menstrual Disc

At best-menstrual-discs.com, we are two testers who try brands to give you an honest opinion: Cécile, who usually uses a 65 mm disc, and Marie, accustomed to larger 70 mm models.

After trying Cup&Co, Nixit, Hello Disc and Cora, we were curious to discover what OmyDisc was worth.

Before Ordering: Customer Service Test

We started by contacting customer service to ask a few questions about compatibility with an IUD and size selection.
The response came quickly, in English, with precise explanations:

Omydisc customer service review

Yes, OmyDisc discs can be worn safely with an IUD, and the pack containing two sizes (S and M) is designed so that everyone can find the one that suits them. A very positive first impression.

Cécile’s Test

Cécile has a medium-height cervix and usually feels comfortable with 65 mm discs. She first tried size S (61 mm).

Insertion was simple and comfortable, but the disc was too small, so on heavy flow days, she noticed small leaks: the disc didn’t stay well in place. She then switched to size M (68 mm) and the experience was much better, even though on heavy flow days she had to auto-dump it. The disc stayed perfectly in place, without discomfort, even at night or during sports. What seduced her most was the pull-tab: for the first time, she was able to remove a disc without difficulty even after sexual intercourse. For her, size M suited her well.

Marie’s Test

Marie, on her side, has a higher cervix and usually uses a 70 mm disc. As expected, size S proved much too small: poor retention and quick leaks. Size M (68 mm), however, adapted perfectly. She appreciated the silicone’s flexibility and the disc’s large capacity (64 ml), ideal for her heavy flows.

Even during an active day with travel and sports, she noticed no leaks. She also tested the disc during sexual intercourse: no discomfort for either her or her partner, a real plus compared to certain protections like cups or tampons.

What We Liked

Overall, we found the OmyDisc discs very comfortable and easy to use.

Once inserted, they are completely imperceptible and stay well in place. The automatic emptying (also called auto-dumping) works well (which isn’t always the case with all menstrual discs).

Cleaning is still very simple: a quick rinse with cold water, a little mild soap and the disc is ready to be reused. But what really makes a difference when it comes to daily use is the applicator offered by the brand. Honestly, it’s a game-changer! We had already tried a few applicators from other brands without being fully convinced, but this one works incredibly well. It makes insertion much easier and faster, which is a huge plus, especially for beginners or anyone who struggled with the technique before.

What We Liked Less

Not everything is perfect: size S doesn’t suit all women, particularly those with medium and high cervixes, and removal with the pull-tab requires a little knack at first to avoid spills.

We also noticed that the pull-tab, although it’s a real asset for removal, can sometimes be felt by the partner during sexual intercourse. This remains a detail, but it’s good to know: on this point, discs without pull-tabs like those from Cup&Co are in our opinion more suitable.

Conclusion of Our OmyDisc Test

Finally, we both found our match with OmyDisc. For Cécile, size M was a good alternative to her other menstrual discs: comfortable, virtually no leaks and especially very reassuring thanks to the pull-tab. Marie, who usually uses 70 mm models, also adopted size M very easily and without any leaks. We both agree that the pull-tab is practical: it removes the difficulty of removal and makes using the disc much simpler in daily life, especially when you’re a beginner.

The only small downside: during sexual intercourse, the pull-tab can sometimes be slightly felt by the partner. This isn’t bothersome to the point of compromising the experience, but it’s a detail to know. Conversely, models without pull-tabs, like those from Cup&Co, go completely unnoticed.

Apart from that, OmyDisc was really a great discovery. Easy to use and practical, with the bonus of a 90-day “satisfaction or money-back” guarantee that allows risk-free testing for up to 3 cycles, and the CECE5 discount code that provides a 5% reduction. For us, it’s clearly a favorite and a serious alternative to established major brands like Nixit, flex or Hello Disc that we’ve already had the opportunity to try.

Customer Reviews and User Opinions of the OmyDisc Menstrual Disc

Here are some examples of positive reviews from users of the OmyDisc reusable menstrual disc:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Frankie V – 10/05/2024

“It takes a little practice but once inserted you don’t feel anything, the first days it’s better to use a washable pad as a few drops might leak. Can be used during sexual intercourse.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sylvie – 27/11/2024

“Practical and effective : I’ve only tested size S so far on moderate flow. It’s the first disc I’ve tried, I’ve never attempted the menstrual cup.

This negative review mentions discomfort caused by the pull-tab “the pin bothers me once it is inside” (review posted on the OmyDisc product page) on June 25, 2025:

⭐⭐ Katja Blaub – 06/25/2025

“Hard to insert, the ‘pin’ bothers me once it is inside. I have to tuck it in a certain way to avoid this. A little messy.”

Although the brand is still recent, the first feedback we could find on forums and on the OmyDisc product page is generally positive.

Best alternatives to Omydisc

👉 Cup&Co : An interesting solution if you also want a multi-size pack (65 mm and 70 mm). Removal is done by simply pinching the rim, a bit less intuitive than a pull-tab or a notch but very discreet during intimacy. Cup&Co also offers a 90-day guarantee.

👉 Saalt : A popular choice in the US, designed in soft medical-grade silicone and available in two sizes (56 mm and 66 mm) to adapt to different anatomies. It features a smart notch system that makes removal easier and more secure, without having a large tab sticking out. With a capacity of 30 ml (Small) or 50 ml (Regular), it’s ideal for light to medium flows. The 90-day money-back guarantee offers peace of mind to new users who want to try it out risk-free.
